We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to become part of our team. Based at our head office in Sale, you will play a vital role in supporting the company's continued success.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking candidates with experience in a similar role, ideally within the private rental or hospitality sector. Customer service is central to our ethos, so we value a proactive and detail-focused approach. We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their work, supports their colleagues, and is always willing to go the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather, review, and respond to Subject Access Requests in line with data protection regulations
* Investigate complaints thoroughly, including case reviews and meetings, with a strong focus on achieving resolutions
* Perform compliance-sensitive administrative tasks and manage critical business communications
* Produce and analyse MI reports
* Conduct trend analysis and contribute proactively to risk mitigation strategies across the business
* Support both internal and external client audits
* Keep up to date with relevant legislation within the property industry
Skills & Experience
* At least 1 year proven experience in a similar position
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, confident engaging across all levels of the organisation
* Ability to produce clear and concise written communications, both internally and externally
* Effective time management and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
* Willingness to learn and adapt through ongoing upskilling
* Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), UK GDPR, or property industry practices (beneficial but not required)
