Overview
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Science Teacher who is flexible and fully committed to engaging and maximising achievement for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The post would suit a teacher who currently works in mainstream education with experience of working with SEN pupils, or someone already working within a SEN provision who is passionate about making a difference for pupils with SEN. This position is to teach Key Stages 3 and 4 (years 7–11).

Muntham House School is an outstanding residential and day specialist SEN School for boys with Autism, ADHD and/or other SEN. The school maintains a local, regional and national reputation for innovation and successful practice in SEN. It offers an extensive CPD programme and a strong induction package, including 18 professional INSET days each year. Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons for pupils with SEN across KS3–KS4 (years 7–11).
* Differentiate instruction and assess progress to maximise achievement.
* Collaborate with a supportive staff team to maintain outstanding outcomes for pupils with SEN.
* Contribute to the school’s inclusive environment and associated therapy and learning activities.
Requirements
* Qualified teacher with relevant experience in SEN or mainstream education with SEN experience.
* Experience of teaching Science to KS3/KS4 (years 7–11).
* Commitment to the values and ethos of Muntham House School.

Remuneration is based on experience and qualifications. An excellent training and induction package is available for the successful candidate.
