People Business Partner
Location:THORPE PARK Resort, KT16 8PN
Hours: 40 hours per week Mon - Fri, some weekend work
Contract:Fixed-Term 6 months
To act as a trusted Business Partner and coach to identified areas of the business in order to drive achievement of the Resort and People Strategy through the management of their teams.
Key Objectives:
* Manage and develop the Resort People Advisor and People Administrator
* Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders to build and deliver people plans for defined business area to enable them to operate successful and achieve their objectives.
* Coach and upskill managers in all areas of Employee Relations, Talent and Performance Management.
* Providing expertise regard people issues to reduce risk, reputational and financial exposure.
* Champion and drive key People initiatives driven by Merlin, including but not limited to STAR (company reward and recognition scheme), belonging (diversity, equity and inclusion), culture survey.
* Manage escalated and complex Employee Relations cases using a commercial and pragmatic approach.
* Manage and influence stakeholders internally and externally within a fast faced, challenging environment.
* Managing and Supporting site wide operational changes.
Qualifications & Experience
* Demonstrable experience as HR Advisor, Generalist or Business Partner
* Demonstrable people management experience
* Good working knowledge of UK employment legislation
* Experience using HR data management systems
* Ability to manage a busy and varied workload
* Hospitality, leisure or tourism background desirable
* CIPD Level 5 or 7 desirable

This role is a full-time role, averaging 40 hours per week. Due to the nature of the business this will include weekends, bank holidays and some late evenings as required.
