Capital Fire Doors are looking for an experienced Fire Door Contracts Manager to join our highly skilled team, based in Croydon with the role involving nationwide site oversight. This is a key management position, responsible for overseeing fire door installation, inspection, and remedial contracts, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, and fully compliant with UK fire safety legislation and recognised industry standards. The Fire Door Contracts Manager will manage multiple contracts from award through to completion, lead site teams and approved subcontractors, and act as the main point of contact for clients. The role requires strong technical knowledge of fire door compliance, excellent organisational skills, and a professional, client-focused approach to ensure quality and compliance at every stage of delivery. What you receive for joining us: We’re offering a competitive salary of £45,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you’ll be provided with a company car, fuel card, laptop, and full support from our South London office. You’ll benefit from structured working hours (Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm) and a generous holiday entitlement that increases with length of service. Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing: Managing fire door contracts from award through to completion, including planning and overseeing installation, inspection, and remedial works across multiple sites Ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and standards, including the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations (Approved Document B), BS 8214:2016, manufacturer installation requirements, and third-party accreditation schemes such as FIRAS and BM TRADA Q-Mark Leading and coordinating site teams and approved subcontractors, carrying out site visits, inspections, quality audits, and maintaining high standards of health & safety, including RAMS compliance Managing client relationships, budgets, variations, risk mitigation, documentation, certification, record keeping, and preparation of contract schedules and handover packs Can you show experience in some of these areas: Proven experience in fire door contracts management or passive fire protection, with strong working knowledge of UK fire door regulations, standards, and compliance requirements Experience managing multiple live projects, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and fire door schedules while maintaining quality and commercial control Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with a confident, professional, client-facing communication style Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project management systems, to support accurate reporting, documentation, and record keeping Introducing our organisation: Capital Fire Doors is a specialist fire door manufacturer and installer, dedicated to delivering high-quality, compliant fire door solutions.
