Consultant Geo-environmental Engineer
Cromhall, Gloucestershire (Hybrid Working)
£30,000 DOE
Full-Time | Permanent
The Opportunity
We’re working with a well-established multidisciplinary environmental consultancy that’s continuing to grow its Geo-environmental capability across the UK.
They’re now looking to bring in a Consultant Geo-environmental Engineer to join a collaborative team of Geologists, Engineers and Technicians, supporting the delivery of site investigation and ground engineering projects nationwide.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll play a hands-on role in the delivery of geo-environmental projects, including:
* Ground investigation works, site monitoring, verification visits, soakaway testing and site walkovers
* Preparing logs using GINT or similar software
* Desk studies, data review and interpretative reporting (with senior support)
* Liaising with clients, principal contractors and utility providers
* Organising site access, plant and investigation works
* Supporting Project Managers with technical delivery and site coordination
* Reviewing monitoring and soakaway results
* Preparing RAMS (under supervision) and ensuring H&S compliance at all times
About You
This role would suit someone with:
* A relevant degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or similar
* 2+ years’ site investigation experience
* Experience producing desk study and interpretative reports
* Familiarity with GIS or environmental modelling tools
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* A full UK driving licence and willingness to attend sites
* Eligibility to work in the UK
