5. Maintaining and improving site HSE management systems, including ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
6. Ensuring statutory records, permits, and fire safety documentation are maintained and up to date
7. Liaising with enforcement authorities, insurers, and auditors, maintaining positive working relationships
8. Preparing and submitting HSE reports, metrics, and performance data to senior management
9. Overseeing waste management processes to ensure compliance and environmental best practice
10. Supporting and promoting sustainability initiatives across the business
What you will need to succeed:

16. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
17. IT proficiency (MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
18. Experience working within the food production or FMCG sector
19. Knowledge of environmental permitting, waste management legislation and sustainability reporting
20. Additional environmental or safety qualifications (e.g. IEMA membership or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate)
