Contract: Full-time / long-term supply (with permanent opportunities)
Pay: Competitive weekly pay (dependent on experience)

We're recruiting on behalf of a fantastic all-through SEMH school in North Bristol, which provides specialist education for children and young people who require a nurturing, therapeutic approach to learning.
This unique school focuses on hands‑on, experiential learning, offering students access to forest school, swimming, gymnastics, outdoor education, and other activities that support emotional regulation, confidence, and life skills.
The Role
* Support children aged 5-16 with SEMH needs and complex behavioural profiles.
* Work 1:1 and in small groups, encouraging participation in both academic and therapeutic sessions.
* Help students regulate emotions and re‑engage with learning in a safe, structured, and caring environment.
* Assist with enrichment activities such as forest school, swimming, sensory play, and outdoor projects.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral teams to deliver personalized learning and behaviour plans.
About You
* Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEMH, autism, or behavioural challenges (in schools, youth work, or care settings).
* Calm, confident, and resilient, with a natural ability to build trust and de‑escalate challenging situations.
* Active and hands‑on, comfortable engaging in outdoor and physical learning environments.
* Aware of trauma‑informed approaches and safeguarding best practice.
* Flexible and compassionate, able to adapt to each child's individual needs.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) is required - support is available with this process.
