Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Private Rented Sector Liaison Officer for a Local Authority Client in Surrey. In this role you will manage the transition of landlords and tenants to the Rental Support Scheme, working to protect tenancies and prevent homelessness. Duties: Lead and manage the transition of landlords and tenants from the Guaranteed Rent Scheme to the Rental Support Scheme. Negotiate with landlords to sustain tenancies and minimise the risk of eviction. Provide practical tenancy sustainment and resettlement support to tenants. Secure and coordinate alternative accommodation where tenancies cannot be maintained. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: Experience working in a frontline role supporting members of the public. Experience within housing advice, tenancy management, or the private rented sector. Experience negotiating with landlords, agents, or other stakeholders. Experience managing challenging or emotionally sensitive situations.
