If you are detail orientated and proactive with a specialist understanding of employment law, outstanding communication skills,a strong desire to learn, and the capability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders on policy creation and implementation.
What You’ll Do
* Develop and implement engaging people policies.
* Stay ahead of employment law changes and share key insights.
* Develop guidance, FAQs, and communication materials to support understanding of policies.
* Provide expert advice on pay awards across multiple pay bodies.
Who You Are
You will join us at either grade 9 or grade 10 depending on your experience and qualifications.
To join at grade 9 you will either have an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject plus significant relevant HR experience.
To join at grade 10 you will have a degree and equivalent experience in a management role plus significant relevant HR experience.
Knowledge of Employment Legislation and its application in a large and diverse workforce is necessary. Whilst not essential it would be beneficial for the postholder to have experience working in a unionised environment and/or a local government or complex organisational setting.
