Job Requirement
This post is only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.
Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.
We recommend that you submit your application no later than 21:00 hours on the closing date.
Please note you will be asked to provide the names of two referees when you apply for this post, but these are not required at the application stage.
You should print off the role profile and Head Teachers report and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.
To ensure your application is accepted, it is essential that the Head Teacher report is signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who has completed the report, to the email address below, in PDF format.
Include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.
The report should then be submitted by the Head Teacher to:

Failure to do so may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG/Disclosure Scotland
This criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential.
For posts considered a Regulated Role under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020, successful candidates must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.
The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment, or in some cases, in installments following employment commencement, with approval from the HR & OD Manager.
If an employee leaves before the deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
This applies to existing employees applying for roles requiring a PVG/Disclosure check.
