Duties include:
- Provide a safe and stimulating environment for children in the nursery
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and naptime
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a cohesive and supportive team environment
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the nursery
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
