Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Surveyor with insurance reinstatement experience, you will have full responsibility for claims validation and contract management of domestic and commercial repairs.
You will survey, validate, scope, instruct the repair team and manage contractor performance on residential and commercial property claims. Experience of subsidence claims will be an advantage but not essential.
This role will cover Northern Ireland and occasional travel to Scotland. It is a remote home-based role, a driving licence is essential and you must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities:
* Surveying residential and commercial properties, diagnose defects, validate or repudiate claim
* Instruct further investigations, where required on subsidence claims
* Produce scope for the repair works
* Appoint relevant contractor
* Proactively manage all WIP, ensure projects are programmed/scheduled effectively and profit margins are achieved whilst ensuring quality of works
* Oversee compliance under CDM regs and manage Health & Safety
* KPI / SLA management
What skills/experience will you need for this Surveyor / Contracts Manager role?
* Experience in surveying & scoping insurance claim repair projects
* Experience in overseeing contractors within a property repairs environment (insurance reinstatement)
* Experience of portals/scoping tools
* Driving licence
Package details
* Salary £40k-60k DOE
* Car Allowance, £6k per annum
