Job Title: Registered Manager Children's Residential Home Location: Derby (DE23) Salary: £45,000 -£50,000 Contract Type: Full-Time - Permanent 40 hours a week Lead with purpose. The Role Lead one (or more) children's residential homes, ensuring young peoples physical, emotional and safeguarding needs are fully met. Create a safe, nurturing, empowering environment that promotes development and wellbeing. Ensure compliance with the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Quality Standards, striving to achieve Outstanding with Ofsted. Oversee and progress individual care plans; keep reviews and planning in line with legislation. Champion equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and anti-discriminatory practice, upholding the Equality Act 2010 and delivering culturally responsive, person-centred care. Provide clear leadership, supervision and performance management; maintain appropriate staffing levels. Manage budgets and accurate records; oversee day-to-day operations, Health & Safety and Fire Safety. Work closely with senior leadership and partner agencies; represent the home positively in the community. Complete monthly/quarterly QA, audits and all regulatory responsibilities for the Registered Manager. What you'll bring 2 years proven experience managing a children's residential home. Deep knowledge of the 2015 Regulations and Ofsted requirements. Strong leadership, communication and team-building skills. A child-centred approach and passion for high-quality care. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcar e (or willingness to work towards it). Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota.
