As a Senior Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll have a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), be registered with the HCPC, have a postgraduate qualification and high levels of technical knowledge. Ideally, you’ll also have Radiation Protection Supervisor training and qualification, as well as the ability to work accurately and compassionately. Our purpose-built hospital has been established since 1968. With 40 en-suite bedrooms, a busy outpatients and pre-assessment departments. We also provide a diagnostic imaging service (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography and X-ray), pathology, paediatric unit, surgical recovery ward, cancer care unit, 3 state of the art operating theatres and physiotherapy services. Our small and friendly imaging department offers a broad range of modalities and studies. We have a 1.5T Philips Ingenia widebore MRI scanner and an Aquilion Prime CT scanner. We also offer Mammography, Dexa, Fluoroscopy, Theatre, Ultrasound and general X-ray. Our MRI and general X-ray services run from 8-8 and so we offering 3 long days.
