You should be able to:
* Work under the direction and support of a Registered Children's Nurse, providing both clinical and administrative duties within defined parameters specified by the registered nurse.
* Record patient information.
* Book and manage appointments using the Lorenzo computer‑based system.
* Assist in the delivery of clinical care to children and young people, trained to undertake blood testing, ECGs and patient observations under the direction of a registered nurse.
* Be aware of the structure and organisation of the NHS.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide a high quality of care to patients in our Children’s Outpatients.
This position is based across Furness General Hospital (FGH), Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), Westmorland General Hospital (WGH), and community sites such as Millom Hospital, GP Practice, and other local facilities.
