3. Manage the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
5. Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning.
6. Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for optimisation.
7. Collaborate with department heads to analyse financial performance and provide insights.
8. Supervise the accounting team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
9. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
12. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
13. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
14. Experience in managing financial processes within the Financial Services industry.
15. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
16. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
17. Strong communication skills to convey financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
18. Proven ability to manage and mentor a finance team.
