Role Description
The Industrial Services Supervisor is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Kidderminster. This role oversees day‑to‑day industrial service operations, including planning and supervising tank cleaning, bund cleaning, soft stripping, polyurea lining, and spill response activities. The supervisor coordinates work schedules, allocates resources, and ensures all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and regulatory standards. They provide hands‑on guidance to technicians, monitor job progress, and address any operational issues that arise on site. The role also involves maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring service quality, completing required documentation, and collaborating with internal teams to continuously improve processes and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
* Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance oversight in an industrial or field‑based environment.
* Commitment to customer satisfaction, with proven customer service experience and the ability to manage client expectations on site.
* Experience in training team members on safe work practices, operational procedures, and quality standards.
* Effective communication skills for coordinating with crews, management, and customers, both verbally and in writing.
* Practical experience in industrial services (e.g., tank and bund cleaning, spill response, or similar field work) is highly beneficial.
* Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to industrial and hazardous waste operations.
* Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under time pressure and changing site conditions.
* Valid UK driving licence and willingness to work flexibly to meet operational and emergency response needs.
