Job Title: IT Support Specialist (EMEA IT Support Team)
Location: Reading (Hybrid – predominantly onsite)
* Duration: 11 months (strong possibility of extension)
* Rate: £25.99 per hour
Role Overview
You will work closely with a small, experienced group of IT professionals, delivering high-quality, customer-focused IT support to end users across the EMEA region.
This is a hands-on and varied role where support is provided face-to-face, remotely, and in collaboration with global IT teams. You will handle day-to-day support activities, contribute to projects, and ensure smooth operation of office and user environments.
We are looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, values user experience, and demonstrates a strong “can do / can learn” attitude, with a desire to continuously grow as technology evolves.
Responsibilities
* Provide professional and friendly IT support to end users, both onsite and remotely
* Manage incidents, service requests, and tasks via ServiceNow, Microsoft Teams, and email
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices (primarily iOS)
* Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change), including:
* New starter setups
* Equipment swaps and decommissioning
* Support office IT operations (meeting rooms, peripherals, shared spaces)
* Assist with local and regional IT projects (office changes, infrastructure refreshes)
* Coordinate shipping of IT equipment via courier services when required
* Maintain and contribute to documentation and knowledge base articles
* Provide remote hands support, including basic data center or comms room tasks
* Windows and macOS endpoints
* Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, SharePoint)
* ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow
* Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
* Backup and data protection solutions
* Exposure to Azure or AWS (advantageous)

Experience & Background

* Predominantly onsite role with hybrid flexibility when needed
* Occasional travel across the UK and EMEA region
