Join us as a Senior Finance Manager at MAG (Airports Group)
We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager responsible for managing all Management Accounting activities within the CAVU divisions. This role involves ensuring the timely production of accurate, technically robust management accounts aligned with group finance service levels. You will oversee the finance managers of two CAVU divisions, conducting one-on-one meetings and personal development plans, and establishing strong relationships with CAVU Finance Directors. Supporting internal and external stakeholders and meeting agreed service level agreements (SLAs) will be key responsibilities. You will also oversee the month-end process and ensure the delivery of group service levels and KPIs.
Additional principal accountabilities include:
* Reviewing systems to ensure accurate financial reporting and escalating concerns to the Head of Finance & Accounting and divisional Finance Directors.
* Assisting in the delivery of SLAs across finance functions.
* Interacting with transactional teams for feedback on issues and continuous improvement.
* Working with the Head of Finance to ensure appropriate and understood costs captured in head office.
* Cultivating a mindset of continual improvement within your team and the wider finance group.
Candidate profile:
You should be a qualified accountant or QBE with at least 5 years PQE, including experience in management accounts preparation and review. Proven people management skills and the ability to demonstrate your leadership style are essential. Stakeholder engagement, managing multiple priorities, and working under tight deadlines are vital. Experience with General Ledger functions, SAP or similar ERP systems, and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are required. Experience managing change in a dynamic environment, especially within MAG’s growth phase, will be highly advantageous.
