Childcare Lawyer needed in Bury Paying £55 per hr ref 000A F367 / 1 Full time hours on a temporary basis Key Responsibilities Manage a varied caseload of public law childcare matters, including care proceedings, supervision orders and emergency protection orders Represent the authority in Family Courts, including contested hearings Provide timely legal advice to Children’s Social Care and other internal stakeholders Draft legal documentation, statements and court applications Advise on pre‑proceedings under the Public Law Outline (PLO) Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, guidance and case law Work collaboratively with social workers, managers and partner agencies Contribute to service development and continuous improvement If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number.
