About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established nursing home provider for an experienced and motivated Care Home Manager to lead their service in Norwich. As Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day running of the nursing home, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care is delivered at all times. You will lead the staff team, maintain full compliance with CQC regulations, and ensure the home operates safely, efficiently, and commercially. This is a key leadership role where you will be responsible for both clinical quality and business performance, including occupancy, budgets, and service development. You will be supported by a Deputy Manager, Administrator, and hospitality and housekeeping teams, as well as external Operations and Central support functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and high standards
* Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation
* Maintaining and improving quality of care and working towards Outstanding ratings
* Managing budgets and ensuring financial targets are met
* Driving occupancy through effective marketing and business development
* Building strong relationships with residents, families, professionals, and stakeholders
* Overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth and effective running of the home
* Supporting continuous improvement and service development
About You
* Proven experience managing a nursing or residential care home
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
* Track record of delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Strong leadership and people management skills
* Commercial awareness with experience in occupancy and budget management
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Passion for delivering high standards of care and continuous improvement
* NMC registration is desirable but not essential

Working Hours
