As the Supplier Performance Specialist within Technology and Data, you will support the Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager in delivering an effective supplier relationship and engagement framework for strategic and material technology suppliers.
You will directly manage a defined group of suppliers, ensuring relationships are well-governed, collaborative, and aligned to organisational priorities. Acting as the ياد nmanent point of contact, you will maintain effective communication between suppliers, technical teams, procurement, legal, and business stakeholders.
Through structured performance management and governance, you will drive accountability, manage risks, and ensure suppliers meet contractual obligations while delivering value and continual improvement.ੁ
You will foster a partnering culture, encouraging innovation, co‑design, and improved resilience and customer outcomes. By broadening supplier engagement coverage, you will enable the Strategic Supplier Relationship Manager to focus on long‑term strategy, high‑value negotiations, and maximising value from the technology estate.
About You
You will have proven experience in supplier management, vendor engagement, or procurement, backed by a solid technical understanding and be confidently able to lead day‑to‑day supplier relationships with professionalism and a collaborative approach, ensuring strong partnerships across the board.
Your interpersonal and communication skills enable you to build effective relationships with suppliers and colleagues alike. We are looking for someone with a sound knowledge of supplier governance, KPIs, and contract management and skilled at analysing performance data to present actionable insights. Resilient under pressure, you can manage escalations and juggle multiple priorities.
Commercial awareness should be one of your strengths, allowing you to identify opportunities for cost optimisation, added value, and innovation.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in technology environments and should be familiar with diverse systems. You’re adept at stakeholder management, bridging business and technology functions effectively. Understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery models is a plus, as are relevant professional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, PMI, or Prince2. Financial and commercial okus, combined with strong analytical and critical thinking skills, will set you apart. Above all, you’re team‑oriented, professional, and thrive under pressure with excellent time‑management skills.
