What you’ll be doing
Your main responsibility will be to provide a professional and comprehensive administrative service, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between underwriters and service providers.
1. Chasing brokers for premiums and renewals.
2. Maintaining and monitoring the flow of work.
3. Liaising with clients and other divisions.
4. Processing and checking data entries.
5. Assisting with business development activities.
6. Participating in peer review meetings.
7. Working with different underwriting teams based on their needs.
8. Identifying and implementing opportunities to streamline underwriting activities.
9. Ensuring that our Standard Operating Procedures and User Guides are up to date.
10. Assisting with the testing and rollout of new IT initiatives.
11. Producing and collating data for business planning and reinsurance purposes.
12. Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

We are located in the Leadenhall Building on Leadenhall Street (EC3V 4AB) and are situated on floors 16 – 18, and 39. All of our floors are accessible by lift, and there are building staff on hand to point you in the right direction. The closest train / underground / DLR links are: Liverpool Street Station (7 mins), Bank Station (6 mins), Fenchurch Street Station (6 mins), Aldgate Station (7 mins). The nearest bus stop is St Mary Axe (Stop LR or Z), which is located just outside the building.
