Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Solution Architect to deliver middleware and systems integration solutions for a high-profile defence sector project in London. This is a freelance opportunity requiring candidates to hold or be eligible for security clearance.
Candidates must be freelance contractors and have Security clearance or eligible for Security clearance due to the nature of the programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop application and technological architectures that meet project and customer requirements.
* Provide expert guidance on middleware technologies and architecture standards (TOGAF, Archimate, ITIL).
* Assess existing systems and propose solutions to meet technological evolution goals.
* Draft and validate technical specifications, identify risks, and recommend best practices.
* Coordinate activities of software development teams and manage budgets for architectural solutions.
* Ensure compatibility and integration of technologies across interdependent systems.
Mandatory Requirements
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex systems integration projects.
* Strong knowledge of middleware technologies and application architectures.
* Expertise in architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Archimate, ITIL.
