Hays Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a growing, progressive business in Chesterfield to recruit two Warehouse Support staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, close-knit team environment where attitude and potential are valued as highly as experience. The Role
The successful candidates will initially focus on supporting with warehouse operations , these tasks will be varied. Training will be give, but will include weighing, packing and labelling specialist products, ensuring accuracy and quality at all times. As you develop in the role, you will gain exposure to wider warehouse functions including Goods In, stock management and despatch.
The successful candidate must live local to the Chesterfield area and be able to demonstrate up applcation having held a similar type role previously.
Key ResponsibilitiesPacking & Production
Accurately weigh and pack products into appropriate packagingEnsure all labelling is correct and matches product specificationsIdentify and report discrepancies or quality concernsStore finished goods in line with FIFO stock rotationQuality &plianceFollow food safety, hygiene and quality proceduresMaintain high personal hygiene standards and use PPE correctlyWork in line with health and safety regulationsKeep the working environment clean, organised andpliantWarehouse Operations (following training)Support with receiving and checking deliveriesAssist with stock control and storagePick and prepare orders for dispatchContribute to general warehouse organisationSupport colleagues across the team as requiredWhat We’re Looking ForThis role is centred around attitude and team fit.
