An exciting opportunity is available for a proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join our partner Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Cambridge. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing a positive and engaging learning experience for all students.
Key Responsibilities
* Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and tailored lessons.
* Help create a supportive, safe, and stimulating classroom atmosphere.
* Assist with tracking student progress and implementing individual learning goals.
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student development.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage learning and growth.
* Support the implementation of Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) under the guidance of the teacher.
Requirements
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
* A Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
* Knowledge of various SEN strategies and interventions is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A creative, and resilient approach to supporting students.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
