Strive Training is seeking a highly organised and dynamic Onboarding Officer to join our dedicated Enrolment team. This is a key role in supporting the smooth running of our enrolment procedures, helping learners to enrol onto courses that will support them into sustainable employment or further education. Location: Hybrid working - mostly remote working but there are contact days where you will work from the office (HA87EB) once a month.
Contract: Permanent, full time. Monday to Friday, 9.00am-5.30pm

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our growing team as an Onboarding Officer.
Successful candidates would need to have a keen eye for detail, be a team player and be able to work independently. The following would be desirable when evaluating candidates for this role:
* Experience in dealing with administration/onboarding processes within an educational environment (further education preferred)
* Experience in the use of MIS systems (Maytas preferred)
* Professional and personable
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
What you will be doing:
* Support the enrolment team with the day to day implementation of all administrative processes and procedures for the company ensuring they are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
* Responsible for accurate compliance of internal and external audits relating to GLA/ESF/ESFA funding streams.
* Check source documents for accuracy and completeness before they are entered on the learner record system.
* Verify identity documents and complete all required eligibility checks as required.
* Responsible for ensuring all data entries and learner inputs are accurate and compliant with ESFA/GLA regulations.
* Ensure that all learners enrolled on Strive's learner record system meet funding and audit rules.
* Support and assist with internal and external audits as required.
* Support the enrolment team with enrolment duties as required.
* Undertake initial assessments as required to ascertain the level of education of the learner.
* Great communication skills and to be able to support with telephone communication and enquiries in a professional manner.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with learners to enhance their learning experience.
* Maintain all virtual filing systems and ensure enrolment forms are completed and stored correctly.
* Promptly and professionally handle day to day queries and any other general operational items that may arise and deal with them accordingly or refer to the Management team.
* Attend team meetings as and when required.
* Ensure any safeguarding concerns are escalated to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and all other relevant legislation.
* Undertake any other administrative duties commensurate with the post.
