Clover Talent are representing a well‑established and growing insurance brokerage in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Insurance Broker to join their commercial team.
This is a pure account management and commercial broking role, focused on high‑quality client servicing and technical delivery rather than sales.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the day‑to‑day handling of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring new business, renewals and mid‑term adjustments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Working closely with Account Executives and Directors, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing management of client relationships and insurance programmes.
Key Responsibilities:

Broking and handling commercial insurance policies across new business, renewals and mid‑term adjustments
*
Preparing comprehensive, high‑quality business submission documents for the market
*
Working closely with Account Executives and Directors to support new business and renewal activity through proactive administration and client support
*
Securing appropriate and competitive cover at renewal, completing all relevant documentation and system updates
*
Managing handover of cases to the relevant Account Executive or Director where required
*
Supporting Account Executives and Directors with prospect pipeline management, including profiling via telephone, digital channels and public‑domain research
*
Preparing Renewal Review reports, including analysis of current claims experience
*
Dealing with incoming enquiries from clients (allocated and unallocated as required), insurers and third parties in a professional and timely manner
*
Maintaining an efficient diary system, including age debtors, accounts queries, documentation chasing and renewal terms
Requirements:
*
At least 5+ years’ commercial insurance broking experience
*
Confident handling quotation enquiries, renewals and mid‑term adjustments
*
Strong understanding of commercial insurance markets, products, wordings and options
*
Comfortable working alongside senior Account Executives and Directors
*
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*
Acturis experience is a must
