Your new role :
Working in a fast-paced, friendly team environment, you will be responsible for your own ledger of accounts. As part of the credit control team, you will be responsible for reducing aged debt, maximising cash flow, and minimising risk to the business. Duties within this role will include:
- Cash collecting
- Chasing due and overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter
- Resolving oftenplex queries and disputes
- Working with other departments and internal stakeholders to clear queries and ensure payment can be collected
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Reporting on aged debt
- Attending weekly aged debt meetings to discuss aged debt and problematic accounts
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts
- Achieving against set targets and KPI's
What you'll need to succeed :
You will be a proven credit controller who has extensive business to business collections experience. Your skill set will also includeplex query resolution, reconciling accounts and reporting. You will use your professionalmunication skills to build relationships, and attention to detail to maintain accurate account records. Good Excel (lookups and pivots) will also be needed.
