Ramsdens are an award winning, Legal 500 recommended firm in West & North Yorkshire. With twelve offices and we offer the full spectrum of legal services to individuals and organisations. We are currently recruiting for Receptionists / General Administrators to assist our busy Halifax office.

This position is to be offered on a job share basis 2.5 day split a week to be worked Monday to Friday 9am -5pm, however for the successful candidate we could offer on a full time basis.

The successful candidate will be confident, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude with the ability to get the job done. You will be working on a range of matters, possess excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships at all levels, both internal and external.

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

* First point of contact to welcome clients.
* At all times exercise high standards of client care in a professional and pleasant manner
* To prepare correspondence and documents through audio -typing.
* Administration of client files, which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of files in accordance with the detailed procedures.
* To keep filing up to date and ensure that files are tidy and lexcel compliant.
* To prepare mail and enclosures dispatch.
* Dealing with general telephone enquiries
* To keep dictation up to date within agreed timescales and advise when outside of timescale.
* Ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously
* Ensure the confidentiality and security of all the firm’s and client documentation and information
