Our agile development team are responsible for building internal and client-facing applications, including research, data, analytics and interactive investment tools. We delivered these through both web interfaces and function libraries. How you'll make an impact We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to lead the design and development of scalable, robust, and secure software solutions. You will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our products balancing architectural design patterns with pragmatic solution design, and guiding engineering teams through implementation. You will be expected and encouraged to maintain a hands-on approach to coding being involved in projects as appropriate. Staying up to date on relevant technological advancements, you will inform and guide the Development and Product teams on appropriate emerging changes and potential benefits to our products. Working with other members of the architectural guild, you will establish viability of design decisions through design discussions and POCs. Keep a vigilant eye on security especially at the design stage and ensure the team is following best practices to ensure that our solutions remain secure. Investigate and assess new tooling and approaches that might be adopted by the team Create and maintain appropriate architectural documentation to facilitate As appropriate, represent Redington in ongoing integration discussions with the wider Gallagher organisation. About You This role is for you if have the following skills, experience and attributes: Experience designing, implementing and enhancing native cloud solutions Experience working with Microservices, Event Sourcing and CQRS Highly proficient in C# .NET Strong experience with an RDBMS and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL or SQL server) Strong experience with AWS including Lambdas, RDS, Cognito Excellent communication and presentation skills Professional attitude (self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team as required, ability to meet deadlines) Strong communication skills Experience of MS Azure Typescript/JavaScript and associated web technologies with knowledge of React (preferable) or Angular Experience with a NoSQL database, preferably MongoDB Platform tools such as: Octopus Deploy, Team City, Kubernetes / Docker Compensation and benefits On top of a competitive salary, great teams and exciting career opportunities, we also offer a wide range of benefits.
