Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Scunthorpe
Hours of Work: Monday-Friday: 2pm-10pm
Role Overview
Warehouse Operators work as part of a multi‑skilled team responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient movement of goods. Teams typically include colleagues with skills such as forklift operation, WR4 driving, order picking, goods receiving, and stock control. Some areas may require specialist product knowledge
Responsibilities
1. Order picking and packing to required accuracy and speed.
2. Checking orders and ensuring load security.
3. Following all Health & Safety procedures and reporting hazards.
4. Operating Forklift Trucks (where trained and authorised).
5. Operating WR4 equipment safely and efficiently.
6. Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and hygiene.
7. Loading and unloading vehicles.
8. Working from daily requirement reports and task lists
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
9. Ability to carry out continuous lifting, including occasional heavy items.
10. Strong attention to detail and good numeracy skills.
11. Pride in delivering work to exacting standards.
12. Forklift experience is beneficial but not essential training can be provided.
13. A positive, self‑motivated attitude and willingness to learn all tasks within the team.
14. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to support colleagues across all duties when required.
