Job Summary:
Seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in achieving their educational goals. The OT will work with students with various disabilities and developmental challenges, helping them improve their ability to participate in school activities and routines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Provide therapy sessions to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy into the classroom setting.
* Document progress, write reports, and participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings.
* Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student success.
* Ensure pliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
Requirements:
* Education: Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* License: Valid State License
* Certification: NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) preferred.
* Experience: Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is a plus.
* Skills: Strong munication, problem-solving, and adaptability to diverse student needs.
