Pebbles Care has an exciting opportunity for you to collaborate with our established team and become an integral part of our children's lives. Your role may vary each working day across a small cluster of homes, with various shift patterns to support holiday or training cover. Our unique cluster roles allow you to enhance your development and enrich your experience by offering varied work and the opportunity to work across diverse teams.
Responsibilities
* Daily home life: drive children to and from school, appointments, and visits (full UK manual driving licence required).
* Teach valuable life skills, including meal preparation and household chores.
* Create lasting memories through engaging activities, outings, and holidays.
* Provide support tailored to the young person's needs, either one-to-one or two-to-one.
Training & Development
Your training will begin on day one with comprehensive induction and shadow shifts, covering the Pebbles Way and our therapeutic care model, supported by your manager and the in-house Learning and Development team.
What We Offer You
* A starting salary of £34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
* Cluster Full‑time role operates on a rota pattern of one day on (24 hours, including sleepover) and two days off (48 hours). Salary is based on the following rota pattern.
* Average weekly working hours, including sleepovers, are 56.4. Rota will depend on the cluster.
* 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro‑rated for part‑time contracts).
* 100% funding for Level 3 SVQ/NVQ qualification in Residential Child Care.

Desirable Qualities
* Up to 12 months experience working with children or young adults (more experience may qualify for higher salaries).
* Working towards or desire to obtain SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to Children and Young People’s Residential workforce (funding may be available).
* Familiarity with Codes of Practice set by regulatory bodies.
* Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
