About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Street Scene service.
Our ideal candidate would be passionate about the environment, want to help keep Ceredigion looking its best and help us to increase the county’s recycling record.
As a Street Scene Officer, you would encourage residents to recycle more of their waste, ensure businesses are complying with waste regulations, investigate waste related nuisances, promote Caru Ceredigion and help maintain Ceredigion’s clean and healthy local environment.
As a self-starter with great communication and negotiating skills you could help make a difference.

Highways and Environmental

1. Transport Services: Corporate transport; Fleet management; Parking Services; Harbours.
2. Highways Maintenance: Cyclic and Routine Maintenance; Emergency response; Highways inspection; Winter service.
3. Highways Development: Planning liaison; Road safety; Regional transport; Street lighting; Streetworks; Traffic management; CWIC/NMWTRA; Design supervision; Flood and coastal risk management; Highways improvement.
4. Local Environment Services: Waste Collections; Household waste sites; Grounds maintenance; Street cleaning.
