Job Title: Revenue Analyst

Job Overview
Working in the Finance Team, you will primarily be supporting the Finance Business Partner for Revenue, Cash and Debt Revenue whilst having direct responsibility for all related household and non household income activity such as budget, forecast and variance analysis.
You will be responsible for:
- Budget/ forecasts; monthly reporting and analysis
- Revenue aspects of the regulatory accounts, including audits
- Yearly 'Demand Forecast' which submits the expected volume of customers and water usage in order to calculate the regulated pricing
- Noting variances relating to property counts, customer consumption, billing v accrual, non house hold meter reads estimations v actual reads, phasing of forecast v actual results
- Striving for enhancement opportunities; tightening up of controls around our non household credit support, improvement of consumption tracking as we roll out smart meters, overall co-ordination of budget for all revenue areas (outside of those which are directly responsible within this role)
- Utilising systems including SAP, TM1, Power BI, SPSS
- Collaborating with members of group finance, economic regulatory, commercial and FP&A finance teams, also non household business performance and billing owners
About You
You will be working in Finance, working towards qualifications in Finance or already qualified (full or part qualified). Someone with experience working in the utilities or other regulated industry would be beneficial, but not essential.
A large part of this role is analysing data therefore good data analytical and systems skills a must for this role.
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington office and home (Office days = Monday & Tuesday).
