Make an impact where it matters most: the first 1001 days. Hertfordshire’s Family Centre Service supports families from pregnancy through to age five - a window where high-quality early intervention changes futures. We’re looking for a dynamic, people-centred leader who’s passionate about giving babies, young children and their families the very best start in life. Why this role matters The first 1001 critical days (from conception to age two) lay the foundations for lifelong health, learning and well-being. As our Family Support & Perinatal Lead, you’ll be right at the heart of shaping support during this crucial stage — and beyond. What Makes You Stand Out • Strong experience in family support, perinatal work, Early Help and safeguarding. • Confident leadership skills with experience developing and managing staff. • Knowledgeable about the first 1001 critical days and committed to impactful early intervention. • Excellent communication, problem-solving and relationship-building abilities. • Level 4 qualification (or willingness to work toward one). • Driving licence and business use insurance.
