Job Description
As Interim Procurement Officer, duties will include, however, not be limited to:
3. Coordinate procurement activities to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
4. Develop and maintain supplier relationships to optimise sourcing strategies.
5. Prepare and issue purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policies.
6. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain quality standards.
7. Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Ensure adherence to procurement regulations and internal procedures.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Officer should have:
10. Previous experience in procurement.
11. Strong organisational and analytical skills to manage procurement processes effectively.
12. Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
13. Be immediately available or on a reduced notice period.
14. Commutable distance of Plymouth.
