The company operates a growing social media presence, particularly on Xiaohongshu (London Private School Mr Wu: https://xhslink.com/m/3j2K8QpcsyM) and other digital platforms, where we share educational insights, UK school guidance and course information with prospective parents and students.
Role Overview
We are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to lead and develop the company’s social media strategy, expand our digital presence and engage our international audience. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing social media platforms, planning digital campaigns, analysing performance data and supporting the company’s marketing and student recruitment objectives.
The role requires a highly organised and creative professional who can combine strategic planning with hands‑on content management and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the company’s social media strategy across platforms such as Xiaohongshu and other relevant channels.
* Create, plan and publish engaging digital content including posts, short videos, articles and promotional materials.
* Manage daily operation of company social media accounts and maintain consistent brand messaging.
* Monitor social media trends and audience engagement to improve campaign effectiveness.
* Analyse performance metrics and prepare reports to measure the success of campaigns and marketing activities.
* Engage with online communities and respond to enquiries from prospective parents and students.
* Collaborate with the company director to support marketing strategies and student recruitment initiatives.
* Promote the company’s online courses and educational services through digital campaigns.
* Develop relationships with potential clients and partners through social media and online communication channels.
* Ensure all social media activity aligns with company objectives and brand values.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience managing social media accounts or digital marketing campaigns.
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, content planning and audience engagement strategies.
* Ability to analyse data and evaluate campaign performance using digital analytics tools.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Creative thinking and ability to produce engaging digital content.
* Strong organisational and project management skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Fluent in both Chinese and English.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent.
Job Type: Full‑time
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
Additional Pay: Bonus scheme and commission pay may apply
This role is based in London (SOHO office). Interviews will take place in London and the successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible.
