As a Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data within our organisation. You'll develop and implement data quality standards, processes, and best practices to maintain high data quality throughout the data lifecycle.
Your expertise in data validation, testing methodologies, and quality assurance techniques will contribute to successful data-driven initiatives, enabling informed decisions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

* Conducting data quality assessments and audits to ensure standards are met and identifying areas for improvement.
* Creating dashboards and reports to provide visibility into data quality metrics and trends.
* Collaborating with data engineering teams to design and implement automated data quality checks and monitoring processes.
* Performing root cause analysis for data quality issues and proposing solutions.
* Assisting product teams with test plans, cases, and scripts to validate data processes.
* Staying updated on emerging trends and technologies in data quality management and recommending innovative solutions.
What We Need From You
* Proven experience as a Senior Data Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role.
* Strong understanding of data quality concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
* Proficiency in SQL and data querying for validation and testing.
* Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Airflow, or Matillion is ideal.
* Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
* Solid understanding of data structures, relational databases, and data modeling.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address data quality issues.
* Effective communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance is a plus.
* Professional certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional are beneficial.
Additional Information
The role offers a blended work environment between our Central London office and home, with an expected 50/50 split. Occasional visits to other locations may be required, with expenses reimbursed.
We might not be right for you if:
* You prefer focusing solely on your tasks without collaboration.
* You value perfection over progress; our environment is fast-paced and iterative.
* You prefer creating rather than building; this role requires ownership from ideation to delivery.
If you don’t meet every point but believe you’re a good fit, we encourage you to apply. We’d love to chat.

* Travel concessions for you and up to 3 nominees.
* Unlimited standby and premium fares on British Airways and partners.
