We maintain a global client base and have established a world class reputation for quality engineering in this field. \n\nAn apprenticeship with RWG means your career in gas turbine maintenance is off to a great start.\n\nIf you are leaving school and eager to start work or looking for an alternative to university, then why not consider applying for a RWG Modern Apprenticeship in the following disciplines: -\n\nâ¢\t2 Fitter positions \t \nâ¢\t3 Inspector positions (2 for RWG and 1 for Ethos Energy) \nâ¢\t1 Machinist position\n\nOver the course of our companyâs history, we have successfully trained more than 220 apprentices. Our in-house training centre in Aberdeen puts you on the path to a rewarding and fulfilling career in gas turbine maintenance. Our state-of-the-art repair and overhaul facilities offer you a first-class learning environment as well as exposure to some of the most innovative technologies in the industry. You will learn from our highly skilled and experienced training team, themselves engineers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and dedicated to uncovering your potential. \n We align our apprenticeships with our business requirements. The training you receive during your apprenticeship is relevant to our current and future activities. This means you acquire the knowledge, practical capabilities, and technical competencies for a successful career with us. \n\nOur Apprenticeship programme is over 4 years where you will be involved in real workshop activities from the start, combining classroom learning and hands-on experience. \n\nOur Modern Apprenticeship structure: - \nYear 1 - You will be working in our fully equipped RWG apprentice training centre where you will work towards completing: - \nâ¢\tSVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations \nâ¢\tNational Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering \n\nYears 2, 3 and 4 - combines on the job training and assessment within RWGâs gas turbine repair and overhaul facilities where you will work towards: - \nâ¢\tDiploma in Engineering at SCQF Level 7\nâ¢\tModern Apprenticeship completion\n Desired qualifications: - \nâ¢\tNational 5 grades A-B or equivalent in Maths.\nâ¢\tNational qualification in Physics and English.\n\nCriteria required: -\nâ¢\tYouâre interested in developing your career in engineering and technology.\nâ¢\tYouâre able to commit to 4 years of training and education. \nâ¢\tYou have a can-do attitude and a passion for success.\n\n
