My client is recruiting for a qualified Mobile Electrician to join a facilities management team in the West Midlands. This is a mobile role where you will travel across the region working in secure government sites. The successful Mobile Electrician role involves carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance to ensure the sites remain safe, compliant and fully operational. You will act as the Responsible Person for electrical systems across your sites and undertake the role of Authorised Person (AP), managing electrical isolations and permit-to-work processes. This is a brand new role, where you will be the first Mobile Electrician to form the regional team. The position involves 39 hours per week across 7 days, including a 1 in 3 weekend shift pattern: Week 1 - Monday to Friday with the weekend off Week 2 - Monday Rest Day, Tuesday to Sunday working Week 3 - Monday to Thursday working with Fri, Sat and Sunday off There may also be participation in an on-call rota, with additional allowance and optional overtime available.
