JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Service Manager for Social Work Practice and the Head of Children’s Health, Care and Justice Services, the post holder will drive South Ayrshire’s Corporate Parenting activity in collaboration with our young people with lived experience, their families, the HSCP workforce and all relevant stakeholders. The Corporate Parenting Lead Officer will also oversee the implementation of the recommendations of the Independent Care Review. (The Promise) across South Ayrshire. The post will provide oversight and co-ordination of the Champion’s Board approach in South Ayrshire and manage a staff team including workers with lived experience of care. A degree of flexible working hours are required to accommodate the needs of the service, resulting in possible availability out with the office hours of working.
