Leader Education are seeking committed SEMH Teachers to work within a specialist school in Oldham. This role focuses on supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, helping them engage with learning in a structured and supportive environment. As an SEMH Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons while supporting students in developing positive behaviour, emotional regulation and confidence. Key Responsibilities: • Plan and deliver structured lessons that engage students with SEMH needs. • Support pupils who may experience barriers to learning due to behavioural or emotional challenges. • Implement behaviour management strategies that promote positive choices and self-regulation. • Work closely with Teaching Assistants and pastoral staff to support student wellbeing. • Create a safe, supportive and consistent classroom environment. • Track student progress and adapt teaching approaches where required. Requirements: • QTS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. • Experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs. • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills. • Resilient, patient and adaptable approach to teaching. • Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff. • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
