We are seeking a proactive and driven Customer Service Team Leader to join our client's team in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced team leader or customer service professional to step into a leadership role, supporting both the day-to-day operations and the development of a team of customer service agents Working on a rotational shift basis between 6:00am and 8:00pm, you will play a key role in ensuring outstanding service delivery while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
* Oversee daily team performance to ensure service levels, KPIs and quality standards are consistently met
* Act as a first point of escalation for customer queries and issues
* Monitor workloads and allocate resources effectively
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience
Team Management & HR Support
* Provide guidance, coaching and ongoing support to customer service agents
* Conduct 1-2-1s, performance reviews and development planning
* Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
* Support with HR-related processes including absence management, performance management and employee engagement initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
You will ideally have:
* Previous experience in a customer service leadership or senior role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience managing performance and developing team members
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
* A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
