We are seeking a proactive and analytical professional Planning Manager to support the Head of Department in delivering high quality planning, analysis and operational insight. This role will play a key part in driving business improvement, supporting cross-functional initiatives and contributing to strategic projects that enhance overall performance. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and coordinate forecasting and planning activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities. * Support the Head of Department with strategic and operational tasks, including data analysis, scenario modelling, and ad-hoc project work. * Utilize various systems and tools to maintain data accuracy, monitor exceptions, and generate actionable insights to inform decision-making. * Review key performance metrics, identify variances or issues, and recommend effective solutions to improve performance. * Manage, support, or coordinate departmental projects, including process improvements, system enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives. * Coach and develop team members, providing guidance to enhance capabilities and ensure high-quality outputs. * Prepare and present regular reports on KPIs such as availability, stock cover, and forecast performance. Skills & Experience: * Experience in planning, forecasting, supply chain, or business operations in a fast-paced environment. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on systems and process efficiency. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple functions. * Proven leadership or team management experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams. * Proficiency in Excel and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or similar is highly desirable.
