A well-established and growing accountancy firm based near Winchester, Hampshire is seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper to join their supportive team. What will the Bookkeeper role involve?
Performing day-to-day bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients.
Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
Managing client communications and handling queries effectively.
Supporting the Outsourcing Manager with varied administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities.
Utilising Xero for client accounting; knowledge of other accounting software is a plus.
Payroll experience would be advantageous but not essential.
Suitable Candidate for the Bookkeeper vacancy:
Proven experience in a similar bookkeeping role within practice or industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident user of Xero (essential).
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple client relationships.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
