* Hours: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract, full time (37 hours/week)
* Term Time only (39 working weeks) – term time plus 1 week
* Salary: Grade 4. Full year salary: £25,583 (pro rata for term time – £22,004.33)
The Role
As a key member of our Pastoral Team, you will provide vital support to our Pastoral Leads and Year Group Managers. You will be the engine room of the pastoral department, ensuring that systems for behaviour, intervention and safeguarding run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Student Support: Be the face of our behaviour management systems, schedule and manage pastoral interventions and facilitate restorative practice meetings.
* Behaviour Operations: Support daily systems such as pastoral appointments, logging on-call incidents, and coordinating same-day detentions.
* Data & Communication: Use the school's data systems to collate data, track trends, and produce reports that measure the impact of our support.
* Liaison: Acting as a bridge between the school, parents/carers and external agencies, e.g. Mental health support teams, specialist clinicians.
What We Are Looking For
* Highly Organised: You can manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced, “live” environment.
* Personable & Calm: You can build trusting relationships with students and remain composed when dealing with challenging behaviour.
* IT Proficient: Confident in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (experience with Arbor is a plus, though training is provided).
* Committed: Fully supportive of our school’s ethos, safeguarding policies, and the inclusion of all students.
