Purpose
Are you passionate about helping young people take their next steps with confidence? We are seeking a full-time Advisor to join our committed team on a maternity cover contract, working across secondary schools and in the community in the borough of Havering.
This role focuses on supporting young people who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training) or at risk of becoming NEET, helping them to explore their options and progress into positive destinations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Delivering one-to-one and group careers guidance
2. Supporting young people with tailored progression planning
3. Working collaboratively with schools and local services
4. Travelling across Havering to provide in-school support
Essential Requirements:
5. A recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) or equivalent (e.g. youth work, coaching)
6. Experience supporting young people with progression and transition
7. Strong communication and organisational skills
8. Commitment to inclusive and impactful practice
