Job Title: MFL Teacher Location: Rotherham, S61 Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time Are you a passionate and dynamic MFL Teacher with the ability to inspire students to develop their language skills and cultural awareness? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join schools in the Rotherham (S61) area. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, promote a love for languages, and support pupils in achieving fluency and confidence in their chosen language(s). Responsibilities as an MFL Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in one or more modern foreign languages. Encourage pupils to develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Create an inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and cultural understanding. Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and work towards raising attainment. Collaborate with colleagues to develop creative resources and teaching strategies. Uphold high standards of classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding. Requirements for MFL Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language (e.g. French, Spanish, German) is desirable. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities. A passion for inspiring young people to learn and appreciate languages. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
